Print a detailed map of your trip, or buy a road map for each child, and have the kids mark each stop along the way. Let them help plan your meal and overnight stops. They’ll love being a part of the adventure planning and you’ll love never hearing “Are we there yet?” again!
Treasure Box
Create a trip box that includes stickers, pipe cleaners, pens, paper, and anything else you want to have on hand. Get the clan to make silly piper cleaner men, draw their best self portrait or recreate the highway landscape.
Memory Journal
Give each child their very own blank notebook with crayons and stickers, and have them fill the books with their fondest memories from the trip. Be sure to have them track the distances you travel, stops you make and rate each attraction you visit.
Photography 101
Give each child their own disposable camera so they can capture the trip from their own eyes. Once the photos have been developed they’ll love adding the shots to their memory journal or creating a family collage. Frame the masterpieces and you’ll have a snapshot of the holiday for years to come.
Pack ‘n’ Play
Doctor's offices, restaurants, long drives...go prepared with a fun pack perfectly suited to your child!
